We currently have the following vacancies and are looking for efficient, well-organised individuals with excellent interpersonal skills to join our rapidly expanding team.
Pension Administrator (Carlisle)
The role will involve assistance with the on-going administration of our Self Invested Pension Plans. You will liaise with Financial Advisers, Banks, Financial institutions and Pension Scheme members on all pension related matters, to ensure the timely and accurate administration of all transactions including investments, benefit calculations, scheme valuations and income reviews, ensuring adherence to current legislation.
It may be beneficial if the candidate has a background in financial services administration, however this is not essential as full training will be given.
The role will involve operating our busy telephone switchboard, meeting and greeting visitors to our offices and carry out general office administration duties, typing letters, franking post, scanning and filing documentation.
The successful candidate will require excellent inter-personal, communication and customer service skills.
Marketing Assistant (Carlisle)
The role will involve helping with production and issue of newsletters, liaising with our designer regarding brochures and website content, ordering stationery and items from our printers, updating our website and maintenance of a database of newsletter contacts. You will also be responsible for updating and development of our social media accounts and for ensuring we have an up to date bank of relevant images. You will also attend any specific marketing events and identify topics for inclusion in our marketing plan.
The successful candidate will have worked in a similar role or have a relevant marketing qualification.
Accounts Administrator (Carlisle)
Our Accounts Department deals with over 500 transactions on a daily basis, for 6,000 customers. The role includes allocating funds received, payment of invoices and fees, transferring funds electronically for investments, reconciling bank entries and completing VAT returns on behalf of our pension scheme members.
The role requires excellent attention to detail and numerical skills. It may be beneficial if the candidate has previous accounts experience, however this is not essential as full training will be given and options to study for the AAT qualification via an apprenticeship scheme with Carlisle College.
Property Administrator (Carlisle)
Our property portfolio currently consists of over 2,000 commercial properties, located throughout the UK.
The role will involve assistance with the acquisition of properties, including assessment of suitability of the property in accordance with current pension legislation, checking legal documentation and liaison with the appointed solicitors, banks, financial advisers and pension scheme members on all new property purchase related matters.
It may be beneficial if the candidate has a background in residential or commercial property administration or conveyancing; has previously worked in a legal profession or has a law degree; however this is not essential as full training is provided.
