New Role – Management / Senior Accountant at InvestAcc Pensions

Due to continued expansion of our SIPP and SSAS business we are creating a new role.

InvestAcc Pension Administration Limited is part of the InvestAcc Group, trading since 1992 the company has built an enviable reputation as a niche Pension Provider in the Self-Invested Pensions market, managing pension assets in excess of £1.4 billion for over 5,000 scheme members.

Management / Senior Accountant (Carlisle)

This is a full time position, although part time may be considered for the right candidate.

Job Specification

Manage and oversee all the daily transactions within our Self-Invested Personal Pension (SIPP), which amount to circa £300 Million per annum and provide accurate monthly financial reports to the Board.

Ideally the candidate will be at least part qualified to CIMA/ACCA/ACA.

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Oversee & provide training to the accounts team (7 staff)
  • Oversee
    • Daily Bank transactions
    • Monthly Payroll (300+ Members)
    • Invoice payments
    • Monthly Tax reclaim from HMRC
    • Annual Tax reconciliation for HMRC
    • Fee invoicing and collection
    • VAT registrations and payments
  • Reconcile bank transactions
  • Management of client account
  • Report to Directors on a monthly basis
    • Debtors
    • Rental arrears
    • Fees
  • Continually review processes and make recommendations for improvement
  • Liaise with other departmental heads to ensure smooth operations

  • intelligent on both a technical and emotional level;
  • articulate in both verbal and written communications;
  • able to multi task, prioritise own workload and achieve set targets without supervision
  • detailed, accurate and have an attention to detail
